According to reports, winger Ademola Lookman will undergo a physical before his £12.5 million transfer to Atalanta.
Lookman began his career with Charlton Athletic and was a major member of the 2017 England U-20 World Cup-winning squad, scoring three goals en route to the final, including in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
The 24-year-old joined Leipzig in 2019, but spent the previous two seasons on loan with Fulham and Leicester City.
He earned a major transfer to Everton, but failed to make a significant impact before being loaned to Leipzig and then joining the German club permanently.
The winger contributed eight goals and five assists in 42 appearances for the Foxes during the previous season.
Moses Simon was replaced by Lookman in the 74th minute of Nigeria’s 2022 World Cup play-off versus Ghana in Kumasi in March. In three appearances, he has scored one for the three-time African champions.
