Sadiq Umar, a Nigerian international, may be leaving Almeria after Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund tabled a €25 million offer for the striker.
According to the Spanish publication FtbolFantasy, Dortmund is seeking a striker and has chosen the Super Eagles striker as the ideal player to help them compete for trophies next season.
Dortmund have unexpectedly entered the competition for the Nigerian, with a Spanish tabloid fueling rumors that the player has already left his house in El Toyo and has not renewed his lease in anticipation of a move to Germany.
Umar Sadiq’s future at UD Almera is uncertain after the club received a €25 million bid for the 25-year-old Nigerian striker on Tuesday, according to the website.
Sadiq has been in excellent form with Almeria for the past two seasons, scoring 38 goals and registering 19 assists in 74 La Liga 2 appearances.
During the summer transfer window, Villarreal, Real Sociedad, and Valencia were all said to be interested in signing the former AS Roma forward.
