The Corriere dello Sport reports that Bayern Munich is contemplating a €120m bid for Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
The 23-year-old Nigerian is viewed as the ideal alternative to Robert Lewandowski, who is on the verge of leaving Allianz Arena this summer.
Lewandowski, whose contract has one year remaining, is eager to join Barcelona.
Osimhen has been impressive for the Partenopei since joining from Ligue 1 club Lille two years ago.
The Partenopei are aware of the interest from other clubs, but are unwilling to let him leave for less than €100 million, having signed him for a club and African record fee of €75 million.
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are also reportedly interested in signing the striker with three years remaining on his Napoli contract.
In 51 league games for the Naples club, the Nigerian has scored 24 goals and contributed eight assists.
In 27 Serie A appearances during the 2021–2022 season, Osimhen scored 14 goals and dished out five assists.

Additionally, he contributed four goals and one assist in the Europa League for Napoli, who finished third in Serie A with 79 points in 38 games last season.

Former Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has pushed Bayern to sign Osimhen should Lewandowski depart, stating that he will adapt quickly to the Bundesliga.
“Victor would be a suitable replacement for Robert Lewandowski if Bayern let him leave,” Rohr told Sports Bild.
I believe he would win in Munich. “Since he already has Bundesliga experience and speaks a little German, his adjustment period is obviously less than that of other foreign players,” Rohr remarked.
