He claims to have consecrated a white garment church based on divine instruction last September, according to the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s General Superintendent, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
On Sunday, the 80-year-old cleric revealed this in a sermon entitled, ‘Going Higher (Part 54)’.
Reverend Esther Ajayi’s Love of Christ Generation Church C&S (Worldwide), created by the octogenarian in September 2021, was criticized by Pentecostals at the time of its dedication.
Ajayi’s church will be dedicated by Adeboye on Sunday, he claimed.
Acts 11:1-18 describes how the apostles confronted Peter after he returned from Cornelius’ house, asking him, ‘What were you doing in the house of a gentile?'” Do you remember going there?’ According to what they stated, they presumably told him; ‘You went to the house of a gentile because he was rich. “The spirit made me go,” Peter had to say.
Further, “Whether you believe it or not, I got quite a number of enquiries recently from well-meaning Christians: ‘Daddy Go Sir, we learned that you went to a white garment church for the dedication of a chapel,'” Adeboye explained. ‘You out of everyone?’
“I stated the spirit compelled me to leave. It seemed as if I was following the guidance of the spirit around me.
A few years back, around 1982, I was invited to a little white-garment church. They invited me because they’d heard of me and thought I’d be a good preacher. Since the spirit had compelled me into action, I complied with their request to remove my shoes.
In the church there was an engineer who God had planned to use in the construction of a campsite that we hadn’t even discovered at the time.
Engineer devoted his heart to Christ after I preached to him. His first job after arriving to the Redeemed Christian Church of God was to serve as the camp’s second-in-command engineer, following the leadership of the Baba Adura (spiritual head of the white garment church).
“I went because God told me to go. Avoid making hasty judgments on God’s affairs, and take your time.”
