More Mystery On Death Of 500 Level UNIZIK Medical Student

Following the death of Izuchukwu Okeke, a medical student at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), who died on the 2nd of Sept 2016, his friend in whose room he slept that night has reportedly been taken into police custody for investigations.

We had earlier reported that the 500 level student who died in his lodge near the Teaching hospital was said to have slept in his classmate’s room in the same lodge who went for night reading.

Reports gathered that the autopsy result revealed that Dr. Okeke died of cardiomegaly, which is a medical condition in which the heart is enlarged. It is commonly referred to as ‘enlarged heart’, but further investigations are still ongoing.
