Former Chelsea Striker Signs Three-year deal With Arsenal

Former Chelsea Striker, Eddie Nketiah has penned his first professional contract with Arsenal.

According to ESPN, the Gunners have moved to secure the future of Nketiah agreeing a three-year deal with the striker joined the club from rivals Chelsea back in 2015.

On his earlier interview with Arsenal’s website, Nketiah said: “I have good pace but I’d say my finishing is my strength,”

“I believe I’m an instinctive finisher and the key is being able to be calm and composed in front of goal, which ensures I never rush my shots.

“I also like to get involved in pressing the opposition high and early. That’s encouraged at Arsenal but that’s how I’ve always been.”

Having ended last season as the top scorer in the under 18’s competition scoring 24 goals in 28 games. It is understood that the 17-year-old is being closely monitored by the Gunners first-team coaching staff who has been likened to Ian Wright. Nketiah is currently on three goals already in the opening weeks of the 2016/17 campaign.
