APC Postpones Ondo Primaries Amid Tension

The governorship primaries of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo state which was initially slated to hold this Saturday had been postponed to next week Wednesday, in a move to douse the warring factions within the state chapter of the party.

Also the primaries would now hold at Democracy Park as against the initial plan of the party to conduct the election at party secretariat.

It was gathered that the delegates expected to elect the party’s standard bearer have gone into hiding to avoid been camped by aspirants who are ready to buy them over with money.

According to a statement issued earlier by the party, 3,000 delegates across the 18 council areas of the state would choose a candidate out of 25 aspirants participating in the primaries.Thanks for reading.
