The Lagos State University (LASU) through the Students Affairs Department, DSA, has issued warning letters to 84 students of the institution over indecent dressing.
The authorities of the university also disqualified a student of the university who was among the contestants for the forthcoming Student Union election.
In a statement from the Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations (CIPPR) made available to newsmen disclosed that the Students Affairs Division (DSA) of LASU issued the warning letters to the 84 students for flouting the dress code of the institution.
The letter shows that eight of those that have been sanctioned are final year students, 43 are in 100level, 20 in 200level and three in 300level.
24 of the sanctioned students are in the faculty of Management Science, 18 from the faculty of sciences, the faculty of Education and Social Sciences were recorded as 11 students each and the faculty of communication has four students.
